Terms of Service
The rules for using the Gold Currency website and platform. Please read them before opening an account.
Last updated: September 20, 2026
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
Gold Currency is a product of Future Sun Corporation ("Gold Currency", "we", "us"), a corporation incorporated under the Canada Business Corporations Act (Corporation No. 810599-5) with its registered office in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. These Terms of Service govern your use of the Gold Currency website and platform (together, "the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. What the Service is
Gold Currency lets you hold a digital balance tied to a fixed amount of 99.9% pure, 24-karat gold. Subject to the limits and processes described on this site, you can buy that balance, hold it, transfer it, cash it out, or redeem it as physical gold bullion.
3. Eligibility and your account
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to open an account.
- You must give us accurate information and complete any identity verification we ask for.
- You are responsible for making sure the Service is lawful to use where you live.
- You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for activity on your account. Enable two-factor authentication where it is offered, and tell us straight away if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Custody of the gold
The physical gold backing customer balances is purchased and held directly by Future Sun Corporation, currently in a secured safe-deposit box at CIBC (Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce). This is a self-custody arrangement. It is not an independent third-party vault or audit program at this time. More detail is on our About page.
5. Prices and fees
The value of your balance moves with the live gold price. Prices shown on this site, including the ticker, are indicative, are provided for reference, and are not an offer to trade at that exact price. Fees for buying, storing, transferring, withdrawing, and redeeming gold are shown to you before you confirm each transaction. By opening an account and using the Service, you agree to the fees in effect at the time of each transaction. We may change our fees from time to time; any change will not apply to a transaction you have already confirmed.
6. Payments
Customer transactions are processed through Future Sun Corporation's account at BMO (Bank of Montreal). We may use payment processors and other service providers to complete transactions, and their terms may also apply to you.
Standard withdrawals and payouts to your linked bank account typically take a minimum of three (3) business days to process and arrive, depending on our payment processor and your financial institution; this timing is not guaranteed and may vary. If we make an instant or expedited transfer option available to you, a percentage-based fee will apply to that transaction, and the fee amount will be disclosed to you before you confirm it.
7. Redemption
You can request physical redemption of some or all of your balance from your dashboard. Redemption is subject to identity verification and to the processing, delivery, or pickup arrangements described when you make your request. How it works is summarized on our Learn More page.
8. Prohibited use
- Using the Service for money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, or any other unlawful activity.
- Trying to get around identity verification, account limits, or security controls.
- Interfering with the security or normal operation of the Service.
We may suspend or restrict an account, and delay a transaction, where we reasonably believe these terms are being breached or where the law requires it.
9. Risk and no advice
The price of gold can rise and fall, and the value of your balance will change with it. Nothing on this site is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gold Currency is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when they were last changed. Where a change is material, we will tell account holders before it takes effect.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
